The BEWITAL Group from Südlohn-Oeding and Skurios Volleys Borken are further expanding their existing partnership. The family-owned company from the Münsterland region will continue to stand firmly by the club's side at the start of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, supporting both the professional team and, in particular, the next generation of players.
“Genuine. Reliable. Münsterland. These values characterize BEWITAL and fit perfectly with our Skurios Volleys. In BEWITAL, we have a partner that is both modern and down-to-earth. Together, we stand not only for athletic commitment, but also for roots in the region, reliability, and perspective,” says Skurios team manager Manuel Reßmann.
BEWITAL has been on board as a partner since last season. After just a short time, it became clear that this collaboration is more than just sponsorship, says Reßmann: "It's a shared journey. For a team like the Skurios Volleys, such strong partners are indispensable. They give us the confidence to give our all on the court—and they themselves benefit from a stage that extends far beyond the western Münsterland region. Whether live in sports halls in Schwerin, Dresden, or Stuttgart, on the Dyn livestream, or on social media, the Skurios Volleys have long been a nationally recognized volleyball team."
Strong focus on promoting young talent
“As a family business with deep roots in the local community, promoting engagement in the region is particularly important to us,” says Dr. Jürgen Wigger, Managing Director of the BEWITAL Group. “The Skurios Volleys stand for dedication, team spirit, and down-to-earthness—values that are also important to us.”
As a local partner, BEWITAL also focuses particularly on promoting young talent. This is because one of the volleyball department's particular strengths has always been the development of regional players. Examples of this are Linda Bock and Esther Spöler, who are now nationally known names. With Hannah Rudde and U19 national player Marika Loker, two former youth players are now in the current Bundesliga squad.
BEWITAL also supports young talent in their path to becoming coaches: Lea Hacker, another former RSV youth player, now sits on the coaching bench as assistant coach and scout. It is precisely this path—from youth to professional—that BEWITAL specifically strives to strengthen.
