A Strong Finish:
Marie Valtwies and Tobias Klein-Wiele Honored at
the IHK Top Performers Ceremony

A successful completion of an apprenticeship that deserves special recognition: Marie Valtwies and Tobias Klein-Wiele from the BEWITAL Group have now completed their apprenticeships as industrial business clerks with outstanding results and were honored for their achievements at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s awards ceremony.

A look at the figures from the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) shows just how special this award is: Only 80 of the 1,525 young people who took an IHK final exam in the Borken district this year scored at least 92 out of a possible 100 points, thereby earning the top grade of “very good.” Marie and Tobias are thus among the top graduates of their training cohort. For both of them, this honor also marks a special conclusion to their three-year apprenticeship at BEWITAL.

“We are, of course, particularly pleased that Marie and Tobias have completed their apprenticeships with such outstanding results. For us, this is also a wonderful confirmation that we are on the right track with our training program, which consistently produces top performers recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK),” says Corinna Schraven, training manager at BEWITAL. “It’s important to us that our apprentices can truly grow during their time with us—professionally, personally, and in terms of their independence. Of course, this doesn’t apply only to business-related trades. We offer a total of 15 different apprenticeship programs, and across all areas, we see dedicated young people who take on responsibility, try new things, and are able to find their own path at BEWITAL.”

Part of this approach is also to specifically prepare the trainees for key stages of their training. For example, BEWITAL offers—where possible—additional exam preparation, which Marie and Tobias also took advantage of.

Now that they have successfully graduated, both are taking the next step: Tobias will remain with the BEWITAL Group and begin his career there. Marie is starting college, thus embarking on a new path for the time being.

“We are very pleased that Tobias will continue to be part of our team. And we wish Marie all the best from the bottom of our hearts for her studies and her future career,” said Schraven.
